Tell The Retailers To Help Us Recycle Electronics

Do you shop with any of these retailers?

  • Amazon
  • Costco
  • Fry’s Electronics
  • hhgregg
  • NewEgg
  • Sam’s Club
  • Sears
  • Tiger Direct
  • Walmart

All nine of these companies flunked our Retailer Report Card on electronics recycling. Even though they sell us billions of dollars of electronics this year, they have no recycling program to take back our old stuff when we are done with it.

As customers, we need to let these stores know that we expect more of them. We expect them to do their part. Please help us and let these retailers know you want them to launch a consumer recycling program. Here’s how:

It takes just a minute to send a message to the nine flunking companies, asking them to get serious about recycling. You can:

1) Send a message to ALL NINE RETAILERS  OR

2) Send a message to a specific retailer (choose from the list below). Please take a few seconds to customize your letter to show them that  you are really a customer and you care about this.

Customer letter to retailers

In the store:

Download our letter to the retailer, sign your name, and take it to the store’s customer service manager. (Not the cashier, they will trash it.)  Print a few and put them in your car or bag, so you will have them next time you are shopping.
